Garlicky Tahini Dressing

Tangy, creamy, garlicky, and just bitter enough to keep you coming back for more. Just like your favorite halal cart used to make.

 

 

 

Prep time: 5 minutes

 

Cook time: 5 minutes

 

Serves: 10

 

 

 

Ingredients

 

  • 2

  • 1/2 cup tahini (well stirred)

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)

 

 

 

Instructions

 

  • Peel 2 cloves of garlic and crush into paste using mortar and pestle (if you don't have mortar and pestle you can mince with a knife or crush using garlic press)

  • Place garlic into blender along with all other ingredients

  • Blend on high until smooth

  • Garnish with paprika and fresh mint or dill
